La Maison Rose is surrounded by some of France’s most beautiful villages, walking trails, lakes – and of course the coast, for example:
- 20-30 mins to the beautiful villages of Tourtour, Villecroze, Cotignac and Ampus.
- 50 mins to the Regional Natural Park of Verdon with Les Gorges de Verdon and its freshwater lakes.
- The coast: beaches in Frejus and elsewhere from 50mins away; St Tropez an hour away.
- Presqu’ile de Giens and ferry to Les Iles d’Hyeres – 90mins away.
- Le Rosé de Provence – vineyards and Caves à Vins everywhere…!
Day-trips also to Aix-en-Provence, Marseille, Grasse, Nice and Les Iles d’Hyeres.
There are plenty of beautiful walks and cycle routes locally, along the coast and up in the Verdon park.
